I bought Kenny Chesney's disc because it has "Shift Work" on it, for the most part you can keep the rest of it. It's my duty to report that y'all ought to buy the disc not for "Shift Work" but because it has a cover of Dwight Yoakam's "Wild Ride" on it. Now I'll be the first to admit that I'm far more likely to be listenen' to old BadCo or Guess Who than to some cracker in a cowboy hat but this is different. "Wild Ride" has that Nashville rockabilly goin' on plus a funk thing that just about made me piss myself. I'm generally anti-pedals but the phasor on "Shift Work" is cool and whatever the hell that is on "Wild Ride" sounds more like Bootsy Collins than Nashville.
If anyone knows what's in Joe's signal path let me know. The talk box I can figure out.
Don't bother with the YouTube version, some BS bootlegged with someone's phone in O.C. just don't cut it!
"Funk 49"? "Rocky Mountain Way"?
