I've never understood the obsession with solderless plugs that are much less reliable and much more expensive than soldered. The amount of space you save on a board vs pancake plugs is trivial.

Yeah I tried the George L cables years ago and had trouble with them.
Even though those old pancake plugs don't look as cool as newer plugs, they are a great space saving plug for jumpers between pedals.
Never had a soldered plug act up unless it was damaged.
