Not my thing but the KEXP YouTube channel is a good find. Lots of interesting stuff.

That's good stuff. But it's the drummer that really makes this band tick for me. Don't get me wrong, the singer is really good too - but the drummer is top notch.

+1 on the drummer, but the alternate guitar tuning is more important to the song IMO.

CBass you want fiddle I found you fiddle

Post by RB »

I thought Reign Wolf had something going on when I first stumbled across him a few years ago. He seemed to have a little bit of all the stuff I liked mixed into a fresh package. Then it just turned into noise and trashing the stage. That's not music thats pop performance art and that equates to posing or acting at that point for me. I am old school I come to be moved by the music not a bunch of hysterical assholes jumping around like idiots. Ok so I'm old.

Anyway cbass wanted fiddle so I ran across a group a while back that had a fiddle player I found quite interesting. They are also on the edgy side and maybe their concert tickets are cheap and I find them very entertaining. If you spend the time to check out their entire body of work you may have a smile or two or some good laughs.

I offer up this suggestion for you critical review

I think they are what Zappa would have evolved to with another album or two.

Didn't like it at first but then had a hard time turning it off.
