Yeah, it took my Mom. I've got memory problems but I think they relate more to the 60s than any disease. (60s meaning both 1960s and my 60s)
Re: Malcolm Young retires????
Both my parents had dementia and needed care in their later years.
If it's hereditary, then I'm screwed. I worry when I can't remember things: is it normal aging, or am I starting to see signs of dementia? Makes me realize that I better enjoy life now while I can.

Don't you boys know any NICE songs?

Words to live by in any case.boots wrote: Makes me realize that I better enjoy life now while I can.
Every moment counts, the meter is running backwards.
Re: Malcolm Young retires????
The announcements that Malcolm has dementia and has had a stroke do not tell all of the truth.
Malcolm is suffering from a degenerative brain condition due to the narrowing of the arteries to his brain.
This has been caused by a lifetime of very heavy smoking.
My source 'close to the band' has been quoted as saying "Both Angus and Malcolm would rather smoke than breathe!"
A warning to us all, give it up now.
