Desert Island: One Artist

Post by JazzGuitarGimp »

If you were going to spend the rest of your life on a deserted island, and you could bring the entire music catalogue of just one artist, who would make the cut?

My first thought was Zeppelin, or Pink Floyd, or Genesis...but I can recreate most of those albums in my head, so probably something more complex and wonderful, like Igor Stravinsky or Chopin or Gershwin, any of the post-war romantics.

Silence will do.
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

The Greatful Dead...because that's the only way possible that maybe, just maybe, I can finally figure out what all the fuss is about.

Wait...I changed my mind...Hendrix.

Jerry Garcia and Eric Clapton are given the death penalty by firing squad. They are asked if they have a final request.

Jerry says he wants his guitar to jam trucking just one more time.

Eric asked that he be shot before they honor Jerry's request.
