New venturer onto the amp garage forum!

Post by Emrek »

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Emre. I live down under in Sydney (lived most of my life in Belgium and UK and moved to join the miss), I'm fascinated by amp building and I'm starting to get my hands dirty into a 5f2a project so I'm hoping to slowly learn more especially on this forum!

So yeah, I won't go into details here but yeah, hi everyone! :D

Also, I'm currently listening to Aqualung from Jethro Tull, what about everyone else?

Welcome! Good luck with the 5F2, good project to learn from. It's too early for Tull here; maybe later.

Welcome aboard Emrek. As it happens I'll be embarking on a 5E3 build soon.

Haven't had a listen for a while but I'm still a big fan of Jethro's first album, and their splinter group Blodwyn Pig started by their original guitarist Mick Abrahams.

Welcome Emrek!

Thanks Leo_Gnardo for reminding me of Blodwyn Pig! I haven't listened to them for many years. This weekend I'll dig out their CD from the archives and play it LOUD! Maybe followed by some Spooky Tooth?

Make it an old British day - Crazy World of Arthur Brown & Atomic Rooster at one end, Strawbs and Fairport Convention at the other.

At the moment, I'm breaking in a Celestian gold with my official speaker break-in song...Climbing a high wall by Link Wray.
