Who is this band on this ytube vid?

This vid may have screwed up my life a little. I don't know.

Thanx. My nephew is deep into those dudes but I never really caught the bug. Not really indie is it? The glider is my angle.

Anybody notice the lack of protection on the pilot's legs and feet. Land that in the wrong place and you might be in a wheel chair.

He's in a pretty good cage there. If you watch again you'll notice that the roll out is about ten feet. The landing speed is so low that he'd have to run into a giant rock or the side of a barn at flying speed rather than landing speed in order to be hurt too bad.

I'm building a powered Light Sport aircraft right now and just sold my Luscombe a couple of weeks ago to finance it so I'm unlikely to splurge on a glider right away. Someday though. I've been flying for almost 40 years now. That looks like absolutely the funnest thing I've seen in years. I don't care much for the hang glider and or weight shift type control systems you usually see in that type of flying. The glider in the video has a standard aircraft 3 axis control system just like everything else I've flown through the years.

The glider would cost about $2500 to build. Simple to fly and safe for beginners.

I think I would rather have a motor on an ultra lite.
Years ago me and a friend established a fund to get a powered ultra lite.
Family, kids, life, ended that dream.

That area looks familiar like near Tracy, CA

Lots of wind farms there.
