What's expressvu? All I get is over the air HD broadcasts here in SF Bay Area.

Derek is awesome. He also allows free downloads of his shows via archive.org on the live music archive. I've downloaded a few shows and they are all great.

I saw Derek when he was about 13, I think. It was at "The Supper Club" in Auburn, Al. His tone was great even then. He sounded and played just like Duane Allman. It was one of those jaw-dropping experiences you never forget. This shy kid just gets up there and destroys you with his command of the instrument. Saw him again a few years ago and he had come into his own style and his playing was so soulfull. His tone was amazing.

I love Derek's tone too. The only thing I don't like is the noise he makes between slides. For some reason that irritates me. I saw him with the Allman Bros and he was awesome.
