I went to Brazil a few years back to a little town west of Recife, called Camaragibe.
I believe it is 8 degrees south of the equator.
Daytime was 6:00am to 6:00pm year round.
The only seasonal changes are either wet or dry.....

I have read this in many places, but still interesting to note the 20-30 dB amplification of Gov't controlled frequencies by the aluminum hat. No wonder that cat looks crazed!
