Ordered parts from Mouser on Tuesday, and they shipped within two hours, which is awesome. What's not awesome is that the package won't arrive until Tuesday…a week later. I'm in California. I only ordered $7 in parts, so didn't want to pay for 2-day or whatever. Now I realize I could have picked USPS Priority.
ANY-hoo, are there good electronics to be ordered on the left coast?

mouser used to have a facility in El Cajon. I could drive there in a pinch. Anyway, the closest place is really Antique (a.k.a. CEDist, tubesandmore) in Tempe.

We have Fry's in CA, which is an awesome, megasized RadioShack. But the nearest one is 2 hours, and they don't do mail order.
I take it back. They do mail order, but don't have much I need for amp building.

Depends on what you need, but Steve at Apex should be top of the list for whatever he has, I say.
