Black Korina Strat

It is a nice sound, but not your "classic" strat tone.

Do you feel that is due more to the chamber or the wood?

I have several other alder chambered strats that have more of a traditional strat tone. I think the chambering makes them slightly darker than a solid body strat.
With the Korina Strat I have, the mids are different. It also retains the darker nature of a chambered strat. I like it alot and feel it is a very usable strat.

Keep in mind that this is totally spliting hairs. It's still a strat and will never be mistaken for anything else.
