It's 10am on Saturday, October 29, 2011. It's snowing hard here in York Haven, Pennsylvania. The forcast is for 8-10 inches. I will have to get in gear on my Trainwreck Rocket Clone project. I want to get it done before the world comes to an end, which will obviously be soon.

Raining now, 2:27pm, but could easily change over.

Snowing like a bastard here - flakes like half dollars. It started several hours ago and we're supposed to get anywhere between 5" and 12" depending on location. There's way too much foliage left in the trees for limbs to support that kind of weight.

My 3 piece band and I have officially hit the road (married couple and I). They rented out their house and we just got a 34' Fleetwood to travel around in. It seems a bitterly cold time of year to live in a motor-home but so far we have avoided snow. (not so easy considering we've been prancing around in the Rockies and Kootenays)
However, we have gigs in Revelstoke next week before we flee to the west coast. Seeing as that's the location of the best heli-sking, cat-skiing, and a resort with the most Vert in North America, I suspect we may be seeing a bit of the white stuff before we escape. We'll definitely be putting the Motor-home furnace through it's paces.
We'd love to head south, but we are new to touring and we suspect getting a visa to gig south of the border could be difficult. I was also worried about getting guitars confiscated at the border or something, but if you guys are getting snow too, what's the point of running south?
I wonder if Mexicans like garage/blues rock...

Amazing - we ended up with @ 7" while just over the hill they got 18" and 15 minutes south they got 14". Looks like we dodged another bullet -

Just got in from shoveling this Halloween snow. I wonder if ghosts like snow. (it must be hard seeing each other)

Lots of downed trees. 6 inches of wet snow and trees with full foliage don't mix.

BTW George, I live in East York, not too far from you. We should connect sometime.

Crazy weather all over!

This past Summer really was a downer here.

It was late coming and about October 1st it was like a switch was thrown, cold/ rainy, OK it's Fall.

Some are forecasting more snow than normal here this Winter.

We'll see.

weather is wonderful here.Been in the 70's the last few days.The trees are beautiful.Oh and that wonderful skunk smell this time of year.I love fall
