Post by M Fowler »

I have watched this video so many times because I love their jam room
(The Club House) which just happens to have recording studio.

Damn man thanks. I couldn't take it out of my player for weeks. What a great record. Cambell is such a baddass. I love pure.

Man o' man what a jam room! Campbell is probably my favorite player ever. I saw Tom & the boys a couple of years ago in St. Petersburg Fla. They blew the roof off the place. I may be a little biased. You know how everyone in the N. east loves Bruce Springsteen so much? Us Floridians are damn partial to Tom Petty. 8)

The opening and closing shots made me homesick. That's the Mississippi Delta off of highway 61 between Cleveland and Clarksdale. Also known as the Blues Highway. It runs from New Orleans to Chicago. On the way it winds through places like Rolling Fork (birthplace of Muddy Waters) , Hollandale (Sam Chatmon), Leland (Johnny and Edgar Winter, Little Milton , Thelma Houston , Jimmy Reed, Joe Frank Corolla) , Clarksdale ( Ike Turner , Conway Twitty, John Lee Hooker, Earl Hooker) then winds up in Memphis as Third street when it crosses Beale.

I live in Tupelo now. Birth place of Elvis.

I bought a pair of shoes from a drug dealer the other day. I dunno what he laced them with but I’ve been tripping all day,

Mojo

Campbell is a class act. The clubhouse turned my GAS up a notch or two... There isn't an emoticon for me drooling, but believe me, I felt a dampness around the crotch area  .

I'm sorry that I highjacked this thread. :(
That room would make a great vintage showroom. I just couldn't afford anything in it.

Did you see that Mike bought a 59 LP and Tom said we want to record around that guitar.

I listened to the entire CD on my way to Orlando this morning. Two thoughts come to mind. 1. Best Les Paul album in a long time. 2. Mike does one helluva Jimmy Page riff. They must have named the album after that stuff that was oozing out of that '59.
