I know G-N-R's current guitarist since I am like 14 years old. I don't know him real well but we know each other and are cool and can hang. We took guitar lessons from the same guy back when I was 14 or so. I didn't get the same thing out of it that he did. I want my money back!!!

This is him playing the red Vigier FRETLESS guitar. Wait until the end of the clip when they turn his volume up. INSANE. Co-incidentally I was AT this NAMM show and passed them while they were filming. Hung out with Ron at the Airport on the way home too. We were on the same flight. He is one talented bastid BUT he plays Line 6.....doh!

The guy he's jamming with is no slouch either.

Bumblefoot!!!! WOW, and yes, he and Mr. Govan are on a completely different level of playing than us mortals.

Ron Thal is a badass for sure, as is Govan. I LOVE that video too, I've watched it a million times.
