That's when the best one happens, when you least expect it.

I met my wife across the street from my house.
She was watering my neighbors plants while they were away.

Tom!! You dog!!.....must have been quite a line you dropped on her that impressed her.

Not really.
She had this huge black German Shepard so that was my opening to ask about the dog.
When my neighbor came back I asked her if the lady was single and she said yes.
I told her to get me a phone number if that was OK.
Then things kept coming up when we were trying to pick an evening for a date.
I don't think we saw each other again for over a month.

Just one of those things that was meant to be, I guess.
