I have one of those old Oberheim multi-effects unit called the Universal synth USS-1and I have a schematic but I'm terrible with solid state. Can anyone recommend a good person who may be familliar with it. It's a board level repair and it's been soldered on to before so I don't want to start lifting traces on such a valuable piece of gear.

Have you tried Analog Man?
I believe he has a machine/tool for removing solder, for all the mods he does.
