I'm almost finished with a submini amp using 5899 output tubes. These were designed for RF amps but they should work fine for AF. Anyway, they have a plate resistance of 260k, which is pretty high.
How do I figure out what to use for a primary on an output transformer in push-pull? Some datasheets say plate to plate load, this one doesn't. Is it just plate resistance/number of tubes in push pull? In this case that would be 130k?
Thanks

If I understand right, you don't want plate resistance, you want load resistance. You can roughly double it (though I think it is usually a little less than double) for push-pull. I didn't see load resistance on any data sheets I looked up for it, though, so I can't be of more help in your specific case.
