JTM45 and compu-bias

does anyone out there use a compu-bias with a JTM45?

not yet but i have both i'll let you know anything special you want me to check while i have it on the bench? reissue or original?

HINT: if you dont get a wattage reading with both probes plugged into the compu-bias only use one probe unplug the second socket and you should be fine. I've had that issue on a couple self biased amps. it pissed me off until i went back and reread the manual.

What tubes are you using?

KT66?

in the '65-66 the pre's are brimer and the outputs are kt66 g.e.c.
in the RI it's JJ pres and sovtek 5881 I had RCA 6l6's in it but it felt like a waste of good tubes so I pulled them after a week and stuck a set of starter tubes in and called it good.
