transformer from a baldwin organ
i recently got a baldwin organ, the power transformer is some what odd to me. there no heater ct no big deal ill just use resistors to ground off the lamp, this thing runs 4 el84 and 2 12ax7 and a 5u4 but theres an extra set of heater wires running to a seperate reverb unite that also ran 2 12ax7 i was thinking of building a 36 watt marshall type amp. i havent tested it yet but it was a working organ. will i use both sets of wires for the heater? does anyone know of a el84 type amp that uses 4 12ax7 in the preamp? i i got some pretty nice baldwin branded tubes out of this deal also. it seems like a good platform for a real nice load amp

You'd have to wing it for the output section (adding the 2 extra '84s), but they're nice sounding amps.

How about sticking a tube driven reverb in it?
Or an effects loop circuit.
I'd spring for the reverb myself.
