So I was looking at getting myself a toneslut OT.
Would replacing just the OT in my ceriatone make the most difference or should I replace the PT too?
The toneslut PT doesnt have a 6V tap which I want to keep for future mods.
Thanks
Edit: opps wrong forum. Omar you can move this if you like.

Upgrading Iron
Do the OT first, bigger bang for the buck. If you're flush this month, do the PT as well.
Other things being equal, bigger is better in both cases, but don't overdo it. Quality counts too! A Mercury Magnetics OT will make a serious difference even if it's the same physical size/weight as the original. Dave Allen's iron is also very good and much more u$er friendly than the MM, but it's intended for Fender circuits. Toneslut gets good reviews too.
