I've been hangin' 'round here for quite a while now, but these are the first lines I've written in this forum (why? I dunno!)
Just wanted to show you my new build - not very clean, yet very fun(c/k)tional ;o) !
BTW I'm from germany and 24yrs old.
It's still under construction, but the clean channel works!!!
features:
-500V on EL34 Plates / 400 on screen grids (third EL34 for regulation)
puts out ~70watts
-2 independent channels / VTL5C1 switching
-presence AND cut controls (and yes I do need both!)
-CH1 dumble-ish 100k/1k5 clean with jazz-rock switch labelled LIEB/NETT (maybe novosibir can translate appropriately - I unfortunately can't )
-CH2 will become a dumble-ish high gain channel with 220k/3k3-150k/2k2 arrangement on both CL1/2 and OD1/2 and a 3PDT switch labelled NETT/BOESE will switch gain/voicing
-NFB is switcheable ON/OFF/Auto (Auto: ON on cl/OFF on OD)
-DC heaters on preamp/PI
