JRC4558D chips

Post by Luthierwnc »

Hi guys;

I have a Sansui home stereo equalizer that died this weekend. I tried to revive it but it was a total. In there were about 15 JRC 4558D chips so prized by stompbox tweakers. At any rate, I cut them out of the phenolic.

If you would like one (or maybe more, depending on the response), send me a PM with your address and I'll drop them in the mail. I put one in my Tubescreamer years ago and don't really need these. Still, I hate to see them go to waste.

LOL

Those IC's were the cheapest when they were put into the Tubescreamer; cheapest of its time, so overhyped :)

OK, ok, I love em in a Tubescreamer, although I must say that the newer version RC4558 is also worth it!
