Hello.
I am planning a 4 channel amp.
I'm considering a configuration in which one 4-color indicator LED is installed to serve as both a channel indicator and a power indicator.
This is a concept that I am considering because I don't like the clutter of lighting up multiple lights.
However, I have often saw Bi color and Tri color, but Quad color is not searched.
Doesn't the quad color LED originally exist?
A general LED diode is good, or a large size LED light that is a little more suitable for the amplifier indicator LED is also good.
Please suggest if there is a suitable product that can be used for the desired purpose.

The three colors of a RGB LED can be combined to make any number of colors.

I use standard pilot assemblies, just like Fender uses. I just use the threaded piece that the jewel screws into a long with the jewel.
Four LEDs can be poked up into the jewel from the inside. I even make a small round board that maintains the correct spacing/alignment. These LEDs can be turned on individually to indicate which channel is on, etc.. I suggest using the white or clear jewels with water clear LEDs.
Pics below are from an Ultra Phonix build where the dirt chanel turns on a red LED and the clean switches it to a blue LED.
Also, a 10mm LED fits inside the jewel as if it were made for it.

In the case of bi-color or tri-color LEDs, if two or more tabs are connected at the same time, all of the corresponding colors emit light and the colors are mixed to create a new color?
I've used multi-color radial type LEDs before, but I've never used them that way. I'll have to test it out with one I have at home.
However, I originally planned to simply operate each LED through a line for operating a relay on the channel switching board, but if two or more taps have to be operated simultaneously in duplicate in this way, it seems impossible to operate with a relay switching line.
This is because unwanted channels can run through the wires connected to the taps on the LEDs.
It seems that a separate circuit will be needed to drive the LED like this way, but this is not the direction I want, so if there is no LED with more than 4 color taps, I will have to think about another direction.

i.e. blue and yellow makes green and you can get green with both full on but vary the shade of green with say yellow full on and blue at 50% etc.
like xtian said, there are simple cheap tools to do this now. The whole led strips that are ubiquitous now use these kinds of controllers and 3 color led's.

And insure any PWM noise doesn't make it into the audio chain.
