Traynor mass.

Post by Stevem »

Here’s a shot of a 79 130 watt Traynor custom special YBA-3 model.

The smaller transformer in the center of the chassis is the OT from a 70 watt UL Silverface Fender.

I almost had to reinforce my work bench to support this monster, lol!
No Gym today as I have just had my upper body workout!

Gotta love this beasts.
I have a YGL-3, that I got some time ago waiting it’s turn for some bench time, still with the original Mullard EL34s, EL84 driven transformer less reverb and same huge Mallory electrolytics, which sadly have to go…
Works fine though and sounds great.

Since I posted this it took me a tad over a hour to get the number 1 and 2 can filters out of this thing since they are soldered in at all 4 Dam corner’s with massive pads of solder!
