Sadowsky-based onboard bass preamp

I would like to try other options for the preamp of my Fender USA Jazz Bass Deluxe V, and I came to the idea of experimenting a Sadowsky-based preamp on it.

Fets are originally 2N5457.
It's clearly a Fender-like preamp with all resistor scaled down 10x and caps scaled up 10x.
What I would like to implement is a... guess what? Exactly as Fender did, a mid control like a linear 1k (that is the 10k scaled down 10x).
Another option could be the switchable local feedback on the second stage, like on the Dumble SSS.
The other feature that is needed is the blend for the two pickups (is it normally a linear stereo pot?).

Has anyone ever played with something similar?

i built the 2sk117Y (will not work with 2sk117bl or other versions, I've tried) one. sounds great! lots of bass and treble on tap (to be expected with James/baxandall tone stack), lots of volume boost available. with my neck humbucker in parallel instead of series can nail that stingray-type tone

The one I see is the classical early Fender eq.

no i suppose i just misremembered what was on there (didn't look at the schematic, just searched for the link). it's nice though I've used it in front of amps and direct to front of house (at a church i used to play at)

Thanks again, I will give a try to both preamps. ...indeed it would be nice to build the preamp with a connector and switch from one to another.
I will start ABing standard one with Sadowsky one, then the other you suggested me.
