10K log pot with DPDT switch?

Post by Mark »

Hi

I've had a look for a 10K pot with a DPDT pull switch, and not found much. Do you guys know anyone who sells such a pot?

The pot is for an effects loop. I want to be able switch the effects loop in and out.
Yours Sincerely

If you are referring to a pot of this type, you can get any value just by changing the board.

This is very easy to do. They are almost always the same size within the same manufacturer. I just buy a donor pot, disassemble it, and replace the inside.

Another option if you can't find a pot with a built-in DPDT, but can get one with an SPST or SPDT: use the single switch to turn on a $2.50 tiny DPDT relay. These can be found in a 10 pin DIP footprint that's about 5-6mm tall.

Great idea R.G. I hadn't thought of that.

Alkuz1961 thanks for your suggestion too, it's practical approach.
