Oscilloscope recommendations?

It seems prudent to own a scope if I’m going to be able to properly evaluate my circuits. A brief search has produced a wide range of options. I’d prefer a dedicated piece of equipment with a good amount of functionality. What would you all recommend? Thanks.

EEVblog has had a couple videos on finding used scopes on ebay. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTPhuRQBmLQ Digital is nice for a lot of things, but I think it was easier for me to learn on a $20 university surplus analog scope. Less fear of blowing it up if I did something wrong.
