has anyone made a reactive load box and how?
I'm looking at the two note torpedo capture and wondering what's inside.

Re: reactive load box
There're a couple of threads here on that. Here's one with another one linked: https://ampgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... ctive+load

Re: reactive load box
I've repaired a Tone King Ironman reactive attenuator and I can tell you there's a lot in there!

Thinking about my second build.
Re: reactive load box
Just to thumb up the above - I have Toneking Ironman II, it has two (rather big) transformers inside, beside the other seemingly quite involved design. Bar none the best attenuator I have or had. Otherwise, Martin already posted the discussions that went on the subject

There's an exhaustive (exhausting?) thread re: Aiken's reactive load design over at TGP:

Re: reactive load box
I built this a number of years ago and use it all the time with my Wreck Express. It's specifically for a re-amping set up but I also use it as a silent load when bench testing amps. It's very much a reactive dummy load and has a line out for re-amping. It isn't an attenuator that drives the speaker directly but feeds another solid state amp with flat EQ to drive into a real guitar speaker at low volume.
