I've come across quite a large stash of NOS resistors and Transistors from the 70's and 80's,
I know some people talk about the mojo of certain types of components but is there any value to these?
I'm not seeking to make a profit here but I'll save them from the landfill if there's a need.
I've added a couple of pictures of resistors but there are other types too, there also seemed to be quite a few germanium transistors which I believe are still used in effects but again I don't know which ones.
Any advice welcome.

Thinking about my second build.

Yes, most Ge transistors are valuable to pedal builders. Sell on eBay or whatever.

Germanium transistors are popular for effect pedal building as xtian mentioned. There's definitely some preference for certain brands; american made like RCA, Sylvania, TI, are popular. Also any UK made are going to be worth something, since that's where many of the popular vintage effects that use Ge transistors originate (fuzz face, tone bender, etc.).
Germanium transistors vary so much though, that the marked part number means next to nothing. It's all about the measured gain and leakage. As such, there's a simple circuit to measure both found here: http://www.geofex.com/article_folders/ffselect.htm. Untested NOS transistors will sell for $1-3 a piece, but you can get $10-$15 for selected pairs for FF and other effects.
