Signal generator question
I am thinking about buying a signal generator to use with my oscilloscope, to be able to trouble shoot tube amps. Is there any advice on what to buy? As cheap as possible?

There are many options. Just google "Bluetooth audio adapter". You'll also need a 1/8" TRS (stereo) to 1/4" TS (mono) plug adapter.
Re: Signal generator question
A real signal generator (the cheap imports) costs the same as a Bluetooth module. I use this one, and like it:

I build and repair tube amps. http://amps.monkeymatic.com

The Bluetooth adapter doesn't need to be anything fancy. There are many under $10.

Re: Signal generator question
I just use a 3.5mm to 1/4 inch cable.

Thanks guys, I think I'll try both phone and the DDS. Only problem these days is that the mail worldwide is taking an unprecedented long time.xtian wrote: ↑Sat May 16, 2020 4:15 pm A real signal generator (the cheap imports) costs the same as a Bluetooth module. I use this one, and like it:
