9-pin socket pins falling out. What to do?

Post by ViperDoc »

I was splaying some pins on a brand new 9-pin tube socket and the pins started pushing through the socket housing. I've never seen this before. I can put them in, but they fall back out with gravity. The pins themselves look fine enough, but would you just replace the socket or is that overkill? I can see how they'd stay in place fine when soldered. What would you do?
Just plug it in, man.
