I want use my CT se champ 15watt ot in my next project with a 5881 @ about 380 plate voltage IT has 5k and 8k PRI with 4 ,8 ,16 ohm taps in using a deluxe size PT, which primary would work best with the 5881. Thanks mark

Let me tell you how to find out, go to the Duncan amp site and look under tube data for your 5881 , there you will find the info you need under the begining SE section.
Off the top of my head I think 380 volts is too high for SE!

What you want for center bias at that plate voltage is 6k3 (100% dissipation, 23W), with screen voltage about 100V less than the plate. I think the 5K would work fine, though.
