Yes I have used it on 1/8" and 1/16" boards.
The reason I got it was to do eyelets that I missed on the board so I could add them after some wires were soldered by lifting the board slightly.
I also bought a bunch of insulated 4/40 turrets since my stock was depleted from using so many on input grid resistor on V1 or grid and screen resistors for the power tubes.
