A friend picked up a Bluetron Blueverb and asked me to check it over. Sounded OK but he was having a hard time understanding how it works. Interesting amp. A lot of cool sounds but if you don't get what's going on there are a lot of really shitty sounds....
Anyways...overall decent build. Found a wire just hanging in air. It's a very short wire soldered to the brass ground plate. The only place it could possibly reach is the Deep switch. The Deep switches between 2 different bass caps and 2 different treble caps. Caps to the outer lugs and pots to the common lugs. There is a 10M resistor across each switch. The switch doesn't pop when switched.
Any ideas?

Re: Bluetron Blueverb
Contact the Blufolks and ask them about it. Really, they should be willing.

Phil,
It's my understanding that Bluetron is no longer. Do you have contact info?

Re: Bluetron Blueverb
That wire is for a traditional Fender Bassman AB165 deep switch configuration which is not the current configuration of this amp. I left it there in case someone ever wanted to use that configuration.
