Heater artificial center tap

Post by JoeCon »

Guys

When a PT has no center tap for the heater circuit Merlin shows two 100 ohm resistors to ground as a hum reducing solution. Can these resistors come right of the socket pins of the first tube in the series or do you need a separate connection before the socket?

Thanx...

Either way will work fine.

They can be placed anywhere along the heater string.
