found parts

I found these in an electronics shop in the Lower East Side of NY. Not sure of the resistor types at the bottom.

Carbon comp resistors. Probably wouldn't trust them. Caps are nice, though. Assuming you can find a use for .22s.

Yeh, big ol' carbon comp from late 30's-early 50's. Color code like newer ones, I see a 15K and 390k, can't make out the third. Nice to know there's still a surplus (junk) shop still open in Manhattan. Canal St. used to be packed with 'em. And don't sweat the word junk we just called 'em that, you really could find useful stuff at a knockdown price if you were lucky.
