Finally pulled the trigger on a Dumble chassis, unpopulated boards etc, looking at a 4 hole version possibly running el34,s instead of 6l6, the iron I have is a Roost partridge OT and mains transformers, spec on the PT is 360 not centre tap so adjustments will have to be made to the rectifier and perhaps knocking a few volts off as well.
The whole idea is to get something with a little more British feel so the blues master seems the ideal place to start.
No doubt a few of the purists will be desperately upset by changing things around lol hence the post on here, any suggestions or critique's are more than welcome.
