The 2watt pots look a lot like the ones i bought off ebay from china for very cheap, I have some 500k A that were like 1$ each free shipping you might wanna check it out, I now am seeing other values of these pots on ebay but have not bought any yet but there cheap 5 for 10$ free shipping id bet thats where weber gets them, They sound and feel great to me. mark

Ive used them sounded good to me only thing I dont like is there rotation isnt as long as a standard pot . So if you have a numbered system on your faceplate like a marshall they only go to like 8.5 .I like there case ground lug also then I can ground easily

That is interesting.
Do not think I have ever encountered that in your "normal" guitar type pots.....
