Looks like pentode triode switch

IDK, I'm really lazy today and am not putting too much thought into it - looks like a pentode / triode arrangement connecting the screens and plate together. Not worth the effort in my opinion as it ruins the character and aggressiveness (darkens and softens when in triode mode) of the Marshall sound. Yes I have done this - 20 years ago...

I'd say that the PPIMV mod is more useful. It gives you some more options in the gain department when reducing volume.

I did it on my Ceriatone 2204 and use it most of the time if I don't want to use my Unleash.
