Here is a transformer specs spread sheet from Triodestore for the MC transformer line.

Even better- I added a column and copied in the OEM part numbers from the Classic Tone links so you can search quickly. I'd started this a week or so ago, and Mark's posting jogged me into completing it. Cheers!

I recently bought a Valve Storm blank front 1969 100w chassis and the correct MC PT for that chassis is 40-18046 100w Marshall Power lay down type.

Dave got one of those and the incorrect MM transformer model TS1-D05n-TFT.

Thanks, guys. This is a handy reference.
It's a guitar amplifier. How hard can it be?

This is great! Thanks a bunch for putting this together.

Something I can't wrap my head around...taking Mark's PT as an example, why do they rate the PTs for FW bridge rectifier as 350VCT(or generally 1/2 the value I'm accustomed to seeing)? Because of the switching of the diodes? Why not call it 700VCT and let you do what you want with the rectification, if they are indeed center tapped. So it's really 350-0-0?

The 40-18046?

It's used with a full-wave voltage doubler rectifier.

It's not 350-0-350 @290mA...and it's not 350-0-0 @290mA,

It's 175-0-175 being treated as two separate 175-0 @290mA windings that just happen to be connected together....one winding is used for (+) and one winding for (–). The way the middle tap is connected to opposing ends of two filter caps is so it can use one for the (–) reserve supply and the other for the (+) reserve supply.

FWIW, the circuit used by Marshall (as shown in the Classic Tone 40-18046 spec sheet) is not a voltage doubler. It's a FWB with a CT connected to the middle of the stacked reservoir caps. The CT is always at half of the full secondary voltage, so connecting it that way insures that the reservoir caps share voltage equally.
