Another Beaks and feet build...

Post by fusionbear »

Hello gents, here is my latest. This was a Tweaker that got cooked by its former owner. I was going to fix it, but I just kept finding problem after problem... :(

The owner ended giving it to me since he didn't have any money.

Anyway, I am converting it to a little Marshally monster..

Here you go:

Once again, just using leftover parts...

I echo Tonelover. These type of builds are just fun. And any excuse to keep building.
It's a guitar amplifier. How hard can it be?

here's a friend's rebel 20 that I am experimenting with. threw away the original chassis (too small), the "watts" control, and the 6v6/el84 blending. installed larger transformers, converted to 4 x el84 cathode biased power amp, modded the tone stack, added a top boost type channel, VVR, and PPIMV. A little messy, but I'm working off cocktail napkin plans. :) work in progress.
