v4 on my amp is the 12ax7 that takes care of the effecs loop. It only works when the effexs loop is ingaged otherwise bypassed out of the circuit. I don't really use the effexs loop and was thinking of using the retrovales there

mfg claims less heat and consume less power, they reduce stress on the amplifier’s electronics. what do you guys think? Thanks
retrovalves in V4 effexs loop?

I don't think much about them at all.
Probably MOSFET's and an LED to light it up.
Believe me that a 12AX7 Dumbleator can really benefit your tone, regardless if you have any effects in the loop.

yea wasn't sure, bought these awile back to try out and didn't really like them. Thought in the effexs loop it would work alright but why waste the tone. thanks
