Panel text

Post by duriehill »

Hi all

Quick one, hopefully.

I've got the below Ceriatone brush aluminum panel but I would like to remove the circled text.

What would be the best way to achieve this?

Thanks!

A label. Black tape. Umm a torch. Thick red lipstick. Sand blaster.
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

The stuff I put in my dishwasher, Citrishine, or somesuch, is slowly removing all the screen printing from my glassware.
I build and repair tube amps. http://amps.monkeymatic.com

I'd just leave it as-is.

Another vote for leave it. Whatever you do short of stripping the whole panel, it's going to show. If you are set on "fixing" it, masking tape and flat black spray paint? It is still going to flash.

I bet you could still get some people to tell you which way has less hum.

Simple, install a switch and death cap.

If we are filling the hole I vote knob. Vote knob.

I'd be tempted to fit a switch that does nothing.
A magic switch that adds that little something.
A throttle plate di-flange grundler !
Or just leave it as is.

Cover it with your build "badge/signature".
