Panel text
Hi all
Quick one, hopefully.
I've got the below Ceriatone brush aluminum panel but I would like to remove the circled text.

What would be the best way to achieve this?
Thanks!

A label. Black tape. Umm a torch. Thick red lipstick. Sand blaster.
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

The stuff I put in my dishwasher, Citrishine, or somesuch, is slowly removing all the screen printing from my glassware.
I build and repair tube amps. http://amps.monkeymatic.com

Re: Panel text
I'd just leave it as-is.
Re: Panel text
Another vote for leave it. Whatever you do short of stripping the whole panel, it's going to show. If you are set on "fixing" it, masking tape and flat black spray paint? It is still going to flash.martin manning wrote:I'd just leave it as-is.
Re: Panel text
... or put a mod switch there
or if you just can't live with it there taunting your OCD, get a new panel made! Pricey, but we do what we must for our amps.

If we are filling the hole I vote knob. Vote knob.

Re: Panel text
I'd be tempted to fit a switch that does nothing.
A magic switch that adds that little something.
A throttle plate di-flange grundler !
Or just leave it as is.
