I picked up a five pack of these from BSW. One side stopped working on all five pair within six months.
So I decide I'll take a good earpiece from one and replace the defective one in the other. No dice.
The two wires running to ear ear piece are insulated by a not very substantial lacquer.
What a rip.

Bummer. Sennheiser always used to be top-notch stuff. I am still using a pair of HD414's I got in the 80's. They sound great.
Don't you boys know any NICE songs?

These sounded great while they lasted. And they were pretty comfortable too. I checked Amazon reviews, and there are quite a few one star reviews with people having the same problem.
They have a two year warranty, but I don't have a receipt.

Thanks Phil! I just checked and it is in my order history. I also discovered my memory sucks. I bought them in December of 2011. So they lasted a year and a half.Phil_S wrote:This was an on-line purchase from here: http://www.bswusa.com/Headphones-and-Headsets--C30.aspx ?
