Hi Guy's,
I picked up a 70's Ampeg GV-22, works great except the reverb is not working. Here's what I found.. The Tank had 2 busted wires coming off one transducer, soldered them back in place, I get 170 ohms across each side (input and output) does that sound right??? I can here the springs through the speaker...If I shake the pan. If I turn the Reverb control down I don't hear anything. I have tried a different 6CG7.....If I unplug the pan I get a buzz on the output side . nothing on the input...
Any ideas????
Thank-you!!!
Chris

Take a look at the schematic, and replace all the resistors and caps in the reverb circuit. Ampegs are known to burn up those resistors and caps, especially the ones that bias the reverb tube.

Thanks Diablo!! Having a look at the schematic, I'm sure I don't have all those values and wattages in stock...
But I did have a 5 watt 10k which was open
Problem solved!!!
