I have been reading about the TW version. How can I do this on my spitfire clone? the stock setup runs the 2 PI output together through a 1 m pot and kind of kills the tone.

See the TW pages for how to hook it up, this is type 2 not the Lar-Mar PPIMV.

thanks Mark, So i use version 2? why that over the others? So i remove the 220k resisters and the to the grid on the el 84's, correct?

Not sure if you meant this, but leave the grid resistors alone.

Just got logged out again i think that has to do with being KEPT LOGGED IN. apparently doesnt really work.

Anyway the 1.5K are still there. I haven't let out any smoke Yet (knock on wood).

If you have cookies blocked it can log you out.

I leave my profile logged in and have no trouble, except for rare occasions.
