Variac for the bench.

I need a new Variac for my bench. Any recommendations?

Sencore PR57

For bench use you should really have isolation.
B&K made similar models, and Tenma (MCM Electronics) has some current models.

Eico 1078 it has voltage and amperage meters.

Has that Sencore been reliable? I've had a couple of Sencore Super Cricket transistor checkers that both failed, and the support wasn't very good.
