Hi everyone Ive been trying out various masters in my JMP for a while now and have decided Im just going back to the plain jane pre gain master(1meg pot comming off the treble) in my 1987. Id like to use a push/pull 1meg pot with a dpdt swtich on it so I can switch it in and out of the circuit but Im having trouble wrapping my brain on how to wire the switch. Can anyone help with a diagram please?
Ive got it tied into the treble, heres where Im at. Thanks very much for any help.

Re: Switchable pre gain MV switch wiring.
Hey thanks very much!
So forgive me but just to be clear on my end woud this basically equate to
Red-center pole
Black- bottom pole and jumped to center lug of 1meg
Top pole goes to left lug of 1meg
Ground right lug of 1meg
Do I have this right and would the 1 meg be completely out of the circuit this way?
Also Im sure this will pop like nobodys business when switched is there a way to minimize this with out effecting tone?

Some of the Dumblish builds have MV that are switched in and out with a relay switch (DPDT). WeberVST sells some of those already made that runs off of a 6.3v source.Im sure this will pop like nobodys business when switched is there a way to minimize this with out effecting tone?
I have one of those on one of my builds and it works just fine with no popping at all. However, the MV is on the clean channel and the OD channel does not connect with the MV.
