Local Neg Feedback on a marshall build
Is it posible to implement it on v1b(first drive stage) rather than global neg feedback which to be honest is,nt worth the components IMO, i was thinking similar to the the circuit on my HRM build

Hi,
I´m shure you can. But this are 2 pair of shoes.

What do you want to obtain?
Re: Local Neg Feedback on a marshall build
The so-called global negative feedback loop is used to correct nonlinearities in the output transformer, output tubes and phase inverter.
Nothing you do in any other stage will reduce these distortions.
Any distortion in the first stage(s) short of near clipping is orders of magnitude below that in the output stage.

Re: Local Neg Feedback on a marshall build
A lot of times you see no NFB with an ultralinear OT (i.e. Dr. Z and Alessandro), which provides kind of negative feedback to just the output tubes if I understand correctly. I'm guessing you don't have an OT with UL taps, however...
