First of all, I would like to apologize for my English! It's very bad! But I hope you will understand me and help solve my problem.
And the problem is actually in the next - whether the standard Fender tremolo optocoupter replaced by VTL5C1 in the scheme of Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb?
Thanks in advance for your help

Re: Fender Tremolo Optocoupter
Hi,
What country do you live in?
It helps us if you put that into your profile.
The part you listed is a Vactrol, a brand name opto isolator.
Not sure if those would work in the Fender amp.
Those are usually used more for switching I think.
Hoffman usually carries the Fender part but I see he is currently out.
It is the Tremolo Roach, as they call it.

You can also make your own.

You can use a LED or a incandescent light bulb.

For the reissue '65 Deluxe Reverb amplifier, the part is OP1 #037836

Re: Fender Tremolo Optocoupter
Thaks! I corrected my profile)
In Russia, a rather problematic to find the original optocoupler for Fender tremolo, and ordering the components from abroad, I forgot to order it.
I just have a couple VTL5С1 and , I think, I read somewhere on the internet, that VTL5С1 used instead of the original optocouplers. But I can not find where I got such information.
Here I found that optocoupler made FROM VTL5С1, take it apart and replacing the LED on the bulb - http://www.clarkhuckaby.com/fendervib.html
And here discusses the use of VTL5C3 in tremolo, but I did not understand how it is used!!!))) - http://music-electronics-forum.com/t8017/

Re: Fender Tremolo Optocoupter
That's something like - http://www.thegearpage.net/board/archiv ... 81219.html
And if I understood correctly "...With the LED installed (attach the positive LED lead, the long one, to the 10M resistor)...", then we obtain the following scheme http://www.onlinedisk.ru/view/657697
That's it?

Re: Fender Tremolo Optocoupter
That may work.
Basically it's just a LED and a photocell.
